ICRF 40 years logo

ICRF presents…
2016 Women of Action Gala

For the past five years Barbara has been a proud board member of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF).

The ICRF is the largest single source of private funds for cancer research in Israel whose breakthroughs are shared with the world. (501(c)3, tax I.D. 51-0181215)

Since its establishment 40 years ago, ICRF has provided over 2,200 grants, totaling more than $56 million, to outstanding cancer researchers whose laboratories are located in all leading scientific research institutions, universities and hospitals across Israel. With your valuable assistance, ICRF scientists and our international family of friends can find a cure.

Barbara Lazaroff speaking at ICRF“I hope you will consider supporting this ICRF annual gala. The organization appreciates participation at any level, because the funds we procure support such worthy and ground breaking cancer research. The other aspect of the value of the ICRF funds is that it helps keep the ‘brain trust’ of research in Israel, thereby supporting the country’s scientific infrastructure.” ~ Barbara

These two videos demonstrate the work of the ICRF/Israel Cancer Research Fund. Please watch one of them.

  • We Are All Connected — 7 minutes that show you the advances made by ICRF-funded research and some people helped by it, by you when you help support the ICRF.
  • Thank you ICRF — 5 minutes about where your donation goes.

32 years of second night Seders at Spago!

32 years of raising funds to benefit MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger — a national nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger among all faiths and backgrounds in the United States and Israel.
